National Day of
Service and Remembrance
Sat., Sep. 11: Come out to recognize the National Day of
Service and Remembrance with the W&M Capital Area Tribe Community Service
Committee, the Anacostia Watershed Society, the town of Bladensburg, and
hundreds of other volunteers. This family-friendly event showcases all of
the environmental work for which the Anacostia Watershed Society is known.
There will be a stream clean-up, non-native invasive plant removal,
native tree plantings, and storm drain stenciling.
